TE Release Day: Joy and Wonder

It's here!! All of the new products from Taylored Expressions are now available! Also be sure to head over the Taylored Expressions blog for a few more sneak peeks and, if you've been playing along, see if you are a winner of the giveaways.

I have one more peek for you - then it's time to go shopping!!

Taylored Expressions recently release a fireplace die.  It's a wonderfully detailed set that lets you build a fireplace including a toasty warm fire.  The gallery for it is full of ideas using other die, particularly those in the Little Bits series. Go to By the Fireside and check out a few of the ideas.  Or go to the TE Gallery and search on "fireside" for even more ideas.

Part of this release are two new sets designed to decorate the basic fireplace.  There's By the Fireside - Santa (By the way, although I haven't shown it off, another new die is Dashing through the Snow - a fabulous sleigh.  The bag from By the Fireside-Santa fits perfectly inside the sleigh!)

Besides the Santa set, there's also By the Fireside - Holiday.  That's what I'm using.  I was also tickled to finally have Jingle Bells dies - so I added Little Bits-Jingle Bells into the mix which pointed me in the direction of a lot of gold and silver!

Isn't that just an elegant scene?  My home never looks like that.  I'm more about a total mismatch of handmade ornaments by my guys when they were little, old ornaments I brought from my family home and outdoor/mountain/wildlife ornaments that my guys always find when we are wandering cute little towns in Colorado.  But I am in total awe of those who decorate in a coordinated, elegant way. I was thrilled when I saw the perfect sentiment in the new Ornamental set.

Check out this mantle.

The "noel" and the greenery come from By the Fireside - Holiday.  The bells are Little Bits-Jingle Bells.  I didn't want to ignore the candles either so added a little table next to the fireplace.

  8. So very pretty. Nope, not my house either. I think we have the only tree in Germany with colored lights (and my absolutely-not-matching-but-i-love-every-one collection of ornaments from over the years).
